Alber Elbaz, as if you don’t know his name already, has once again got me stumbling over other women to get to his next project. The world renowed Lanvin designer has decided to venture into writing and is working with the publishing company Steidl to create his 700 page book. His announcement was published in the LA Times along with a descriptive write up of his boutique opening on Rodeo Drive in Malibu. As usual Alber made everyone feel special by presenting his own party favours in the form of dolls, which are created in collaboration with the charity Dessine L’Espoir. The dolls not only support people who are HIV-positive but demonstrate the new Lanvin collection for girls called Lanvin petite.
After the successful launch of the Lanvin and H&M collection, Alber has continued to aim sky high when looking to the future. The book will comprise of sketches, photographs, and text of the dealing that goes into a Lanvin collection. The bow tie enthusiast, undoubtfully describes his continuous inspiration to be women.
